Key Responsibilities of an ESG Reporting Manager
ESG Reporting and Compliance
- Develop and implement ESG reporting frameworks and methodologies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and local reporting requirements.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret ESG data, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to generate comprehensive reports, presentations, and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders.
Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with senior leadership to define and implement the organization’s ESG strategy, goals, and targets aligned with industry best practices and stakeholder expectations.
- Engage with internal departments, investors, analysts, and ESG rating agencies to communicate the organization’s ESG performance, respond to inquiries, and address concerns.
ESG Framework Development
- Stay abreast of emerging ESG trends, regulations, and reporting frameworks to continuously improve and evolve the organization’s ESG reporting and disclosure practices.
- Provide guidance and support in embedding ESG considerations into decision-making processes, risk assessments, and governance frameworks.
