including negotiation, due diligence, deal structuring and closing

Strategy Development

The CSO develops a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and business objectives. This includes setting goals, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and establishing a roadmap for sustainable growth.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders
such as finance, legal, operations, to ensure a comprehensive due diligence process

Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
including investment banks, private equity firms, law firms and potential targets

Develop financial models for M&A opportunities

Background and Sectors

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related fields. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in M&A, corporate development or investment banking, preferably within the renewable energy sector
  • Proven track record in managing and closing successful M&A deals
  • Experience in working with or for an IPP is highly advantageous
