Identify and analyze potential M&A opportunities

within the renewable energy sector, focusing on IPPs

Manage and lead all stages of the M&A process

including negotiation, due diligence, deal structuring and closing

Coordinate with internal stakeholders

such as finance, legal, operations, to ensure a comprehensive due diligence process

Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders

including investment banks, private equity firms, law firms and potential targets

Develop financial models for M&A opportunities

and provide business insights based on these models

Facilitate the post-acquisition integration process

working closely with various internal teams to ensure business continuity and value realization

Stay abreast of market trends

competitor activities, regulatory changes, and other industry developments

Background and Sectors

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related fields. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in M&A, corporate development or investment banking, preferably within the renewable energy sector
  • Proven track record in managing and closing successful M&A deals
  • Experience in working with or for an IPP is highly advantageous
