Key Responsibilities

Background and Sectors

  • Education:A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees, such as a Master’s in Renewable Energy Engineering or Sustainable Energy Systems, are highly advantageous.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy engineering, with hands-on experience in solar, wind, or other renewable energy technologies. Previous experience working on large-scale energy projects is beneficial.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as the NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) for solar energy, LEED Accreditation, or PE (Professional Engineer) licenses are highly valued.
