Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the bank’s sustainability risk management framework, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, and manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks within the organisation.
- Conduct comprehensive ESG risk assessments across the bank’s operations, products, and investment portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and international sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability risk considerations into the bank’s decision-making processes, including investment analysis, due diligence, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of evolving ESG regulations, frameworks, and industry best practices, and provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on emerging sustainability risks and opportunities.
- Develop sustainability risk reporting and disclosure frameworks, communicating the bank’s sustainability risk profile to internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, investors, and industry networks, to promote sustainable finance practices and foster transparency and accountability in sustainability risk management.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to enhance sustainability risk awareness among employees and promote a culture of responsible banking.
