ESG Consultant Manager, London, UK

Job Responsibilities

As an ESG Consultant Manager, you will have a significant impact on shaping sustainable finance strategies and assisting clients in managing ESG risks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with sustainable finance regulations such as SFDR, TCFD, MiFID,, ISSB and others on behalf of financial services clients.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and deliver essential projects, including net-zero strategies, climate change scenario analysis, responsible and sustainable investment strategies, and Green Bond issuance.
  • Risk Management: Assist clients in identifying, monitoring, and managing Sustainability and ESG risks within their operations.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about national and international trends and developments in ESG risks, data, and impact methodologies, providing strategic insights to clients.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels, including regulatory bodies, peers, market participants, and government entities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in ESG reporting, sustainable finance, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable finance regulations and ESG risk management.
  • Project management experience with the ability to lead and deliver complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior-level clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
