Our client, a prominent FMCG company in Dubai, is seeking a Sustainability Manager to spearhead their ESG strategy and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of the company’s ESG strategy, aligning it with global sustainability best practices and the company’s business goals.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, suppliers, and local communities, to drive sustainable initiatives.
Oversee environmental sustainability efforts, including reducing carbon footprint, optimizing resource use, and implementing sustainable supply chain practices.
Champion social responsibility initiatives, including diversity and inclusion programs, ethical labor practices, and community engagement projects.
Ensure the company adheres to ethical governance standards and regulatory compliance related to ESG reporting.
Develop comprehensive ESG reports and disclosures, providing transparency to stakeholders and investors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in sustainability and ESG strategy development, preferably in the FMCG or related industry.
In-depth knowledge of global sustainability frameworks, reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD), and ESG trends.
Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Experience in working in a multicultural and diverse environment.
Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
