Job Responsibilities

  • Social Sustainability: Implement social sustainability initiatives and community investment programs across the global organisation.
  • Human Rights: Integrate human rights considerations into the business and operational strategies, promoting ethical and responsible practices at all levels.
  • Employee Engagement & Philanthropy: Oversee the employee engagement and philanthropy programs, fostering a culture of active participation and generosity.
  • Climate Change & Society: Focus on the intersection of climate change and society, including considerations of a fair and just transition, and explore societal-led climate solutions that offer both social and environmental benefits.
  • Sustainability Reporting & Governance: Oversee the sustainability reporting and enhance the governance practices to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, or related field. An advanced degree or certification in Sustainability or CSR would be an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in social sustainability, CSR, and community investment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of human rights issues and their integration into business operations.
  • Experience with sustainability reporting and governance practices.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and interact with external bodies such as charities and community organisations.
