Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing developer and operator of renewable energy assets across Europe and is hiring an Origination Manager PPA and BESS to lead origination activities in France and Germany.

The role is central to developing revenue streams, executing complex energy contracts and strengthening long-term commercial partnerships in France and focusing on offtake strategy, market assessment and revenue optimisation for renewable energy assets in Germany.

Candidates already based in Paris are preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Originate and negotiate energy revenue contracts including PPAs and BESS revenue agreements
  • Structure and execute deals within deadlines while solving commercial and contractual challenges
  • Develop and grow business revenues across asset portfolios including assets under development and acquisitions.
  • Manage full negotiation lifecycle: pricing, structure, risk allocation and contract execution
  • Maintain and expand relationships with utilities, traders, aggregators and industrial offtakers
  • Collaborate closely with internal legal, finance and asset management teams
  • Lead client relationships and represent the company in negotiations
  • Support internal valuation, budgeting and risk assessments
  • Track regulatory and offtake market developments in France and Germany

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-4 years experience in renewable energy origination or energy markets
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and execute commercial energy contracts
  • Experience with PPA and BESS revenue contracts (France preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong commercial mindset with revenue development capability
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage pressure and resolve deal obstacles
  • Proven client relationship management skills
  • Existing professional network in the energy sector is a strong advantage
  • Strong negotiation and deal execution skills
  • Collaborative approach with internal stakeholders
  • Structured communicator with problem-solving mindset
