Job Description

Head of Energy Management

About the company

Our client is a European solar PV and battery storage platform operating across France, Germany, Spain and Italy. Following a significant reinvestment of capital from Macquarie and institutional co-investors, the business is entering a new phase of growth as it transitions from a developer-led organisation to a scaled, long-term Independent Power Producer (IPP).

The company currently operates approximately 1GW of assets and is targeting continued growth across its core European markets. This expansion is supported by substantial capital allocation and a strategy focused on long-term asset ownership, portfolio optimisation and selective acquisitions.

As part of this growth, our client is strengthening its internal capabilities in energy management, with particular focus on modelling, pricing and revenue optimisation for renewable assets.

The Role

Our client is seeking to recruit a Power Markets Modelling and Pricing Analyst to support the continued development of its energy management function. The role will focus primarily on revenue modelling, pricing analysis, and optimisation of renewable energy assets, with particular emphasis on battery energy storage systems (BESS), which represent an increasingly important part of the company’s strategy.

The successful candidate will support the development of internal tools and analytical frameworks used to evaluate revenue opportunities, model asset performance, and support commercial decision-making across the portfolio. While the scope will include both solar and battery storage, the majority of analytical work over the coming years will focus on storage.

The role will work closely with colleagues across energy management, origination, investment, and asset management.
