ESG & Sustainable Finance Regulatory Reporting Specialist, Banking, London, UK

Job Responsibilities

As the ESG and Sustainable Finance Regulatory Reporting Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to sustainable finance regulations, including SFDR, MiFID, IDD, and AIFMD, by conducting rigorous compliance checks and assessments.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead and support vital projects, including the development of net-zero strategies, climate change scenario analysis, and responsible, sustainable, and impact investment strategies.
  • Green Finance: Contribute to Green Bond issuance and oversee responsible investment strategies, aligning the bank’s initiatives with sustainable finance goals.
  • Risk Management: Collaborate with the risk management team to identify, monitor, and manage Sustainability and ESG risks effectively. Research national and international trends and developments in ESG risks, data, and impact methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels, including regulators, industry peers, market participants, and government entities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in sustainable finance and ESG regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Deep understanding of sustainable finance regulations, including SFDR, MiFID, IDD, and AIFMD.
  • Proven track record in leading and delivering complex ESG and sustainable finance projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to stay updated on evolving ESG trends and regulatory developments.
