Job Responsibilities
Strategic Development & Implementation
- Develop and refine the company’s CSR roadmap aligned with long-term ESG goals, corporate values, and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to embed CSR into all areas of the business — from supply chain and marketing to talent and store operations.
- Establish performance metrics and success indicators for CSR activities across wellbeing, social impact, environmental action, and diversity & inclusion.
Partnerships & Community Impact
- Build and maintain relationships with NGOs, educational institutions, local councils, and community organisations to co-create impactful programmes.
- Manage charity partnerships, employee volunteering schemes, and donation initiatives under a clear “Social Good” agenda.
- Create new partnership models that amplify brand visibility and societal value.
Internal Engagement & Culture Building
- Work with HR and Communications teams to drive internal engagement with CSR programmes.
- Deliver internal campaigns that encourage employee participation and align with values-based recognition initiatives.
- Launch CSR ambassador networks across regional stores to ensure local ownership of national programmes.
Content, Communication & Reporting
- Produce high-quality CSR reports, campaign summaries, and thought leadership content to share progress with customers, investors, and regulators.
- Coordinate with the marketing and content teams to showcase CSR stories across social media, internal newsletters, and external publications.
- Ensure reporting compliance with UK regulations, including Modern Slavery Act statements and ESG disclosures.
